概要
海中の有光層（fotica zone）に届く太陽光の幻想的な情景にインスパイアされて誕生した FOTICA（フォティカ）。均質な断面形状を持つアルミ素材をもとに、精密な機械加工によって造形された本体と専用設計のレンズと組み合わせによって生み出される光は、上方向へ柔らかく空間に広がりつつ、グリップの溝に美しいグラデーション描きながらテーブル上へ優しい光を落とします。
タスク照明と、アンビエント照明の機能をひとつに融合したこの灯りは、手元を明るく照らすと同時に、空間全体に静かな雰囲気をもたらします。カラーは、アルマイト加工による3色展開。さまざまな空間と調和しながら、上質なアクセントを添えます。
本製品は、第三者が保有する特許（特許第7072827号）の許諾を得て製造されています。

1999年Scuola Politecnica di Design Milano卒。2004年よりミラノのLissoni Associati、2012年よりロンドンのBarberOsgerbyに勤務。2015年ミラノにて独立、KENSAKU OSHIROを設立し現在に至る。多文化環境での経験をもとに育んだ独自のデザインアプローチによって、関連する文化や環境におけるプロジェクトの本質を見出し、可能性を広げるデザインを追求する。
これまで欧州を中心に業界を引率する企業と数多く協業し、その領域は建築から家具、生活用品全般に至るまで多岐に渡る。
2006年Salone SatelliteにてDesign Report Award 大賞を受賞, 2018年にはイタリアで活動する新世代のデザイナーとしてRising Talent Awards at MAISON&OBJETに選出される。Best of Year Awards 2022 by Interior Design（米国）やWallpaper Design Award 2022（英国）など受賞の他、日本版エルデコよりEDIDA 2016 “Young designer talent”、EDIDA 2022 “Designer of the year”にノミネートされている。

OUTLINE
FOTICA draws inspiration from the enchanting scenery of sunlight reaching the photic zone (fotica zona) of the ocean. Based on aluminum with a homogeneous cross-sectional shape, the body is crafted through precision machining and paired with a specially designed lens, producing light that spreads softly upward into the space while casting a gentle glow onto the tabletop and tracing a beautiful gradient along the grooves of the grip.
This lamp, which combines the functions of task lighting and ambient lighting into one, illuminates the area at hand while creating a serene atmosphere throughout the entire space.
Available in three anodized color finishes, it blends seamlessly with a variety of interiors while adding a refined accent.

Designer
Kensaku Oshiro graduated from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1999 and, after significant work experiences at renowned design studios in Milan and London, he founded his own studio in Milan in 2015. He sees each project as a unique challenge to be solved on its own terms, distilling limitless possibilities down to a single ideal solution. Drawing on his multicultural experience, his work extends across a variety of fields, from product design to architectural projects, from high-quality craftsmanship to industrial-scale production.
He is the recipient of the Rising Talent Awards 2018, Wallpaper Design Award 2022, and has been nominated for EDIDA 2016 "Young designer talent" by the Japanese version of Elle Deco, EDIDA 2022 "Designer of the year" by EDIDA 2022.
