"In the dark, cold sea, the presence of that lone whale creates a mysterious sense of peace.
It gently warms the heart.
It's as if the flow of time
It's like a gradual change...
Cachalot cited the formative elements of such natural life,
It's a sculptural light object."
Matsuyama Yuki
Cachalot adds vitality and rich color to various living spaces
A rod (cylindrical LED light source) that emits a warm light that symbolizes a living organism. The original light source developed by Ambientec for Cachalot is lit within the gentle and majestic form of a sperm whale and the soft texture of the shade. It harmonizes with the extremely delicate details of the frame, made by precise metal processing, and floats in the space as an iconic light.
A sculptural object that slows down the flow of time, calms people's minds, and brings them peace of mind.
The base is made of heavy-duty zinc die-cast with a copper-plated finish, and the top cover is made of acrylic using a special molding method, and is available in two colors: clear and dark gray.
The crystal-like transparency of the sperm whale, which can only be expressed using high-purity acrylic, shines naturally in the bright sunlight during the day, gently fitting into people's daily lives.
Cachalot naturally relieves loneliness and anxiety, and leaves you feeling gentle and calm.
It makes us aware of the fundamental and universal relationship between people and "light" in our daily lives.
