The N-TL01 was born from a collaboration with Japanese manufacturers and craftsmen. Ambientec has created a minimalist base with a metal shaft wrapped in soft leather, and a delicate wooden base ring made in collaboration with Karimoku Case. We combined this table lamp with a washi paper shade produced by Kojima Shoten, a long-established Kyoto lantern manufacturer with over 100 years of history, to create a table lamp with a soft and comfortable look.
This lampshade is made using the traditional Kyoto-style "Kyoto-jibari" technique, and is constructed to be both durable and delicate. Ambientec's focus on texture is what allows you to feel the details up close. This was made possible by the addition of the excellent technology of Karimoku Furniture, a leading Japanese wooden furniture manufacturer. Cafe tables, dimly lit corners, etc. A portable lamp that blends in with any space. Careful attention to detail ensures it complements its surroundings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

July 2009: Ambientec Co., Ltd. was established.

A unique portable lighting brand with a technical background in the development and manufacturing of underwater photography equipment. The design and development philosophy is aimed at users who want to use high-quality products for as long as possible, and the company's unique LED control technology provides high-quality lighting. Not only is this possible, but it is also reflected in the texture of the materials used and the unique designs created by talented designers.

In order to become an international brand, the company will move its new product launches to Europe, and in 2021 will launch three new collections and become the first Japanese lighting brand to exhibit at the Milan Salone (Supersalone 2021). In 2013, the company was selected as a sponsor of the Gala Dinner, the pre-event for the 60th Milan Salone, with 120 lamps illuminating the night before the event.

In April 2023, the brand will present new products for the first time at Euroluce, the international lighting trade fair.
